Private Classes
Our six week course is the best value for your money and is a must for any new puppy. There is no age requirement and is great for puppies and older dogs. This course is the four week course with 2 more weeks that we use to teach more advanced obedience, work on behavioral problems, and allows us to make sure your dog is right where you want them to be. The course consist 6 one on one privet lessons once a week in which each class we cover different topics within the following categories:
The goal upon completing this six week course is your dog should be able to pass the canine good citizens test, walk on a loose leash, heal, sit, down, stand, take it, leave it, trade you, drop it, retrieve, come, extended sit, extended down, stay, bite inhibition, be fully house broke, do their business on cue, should have no resource guarding or any issues with you placing your hand in their food bowl, be child proofed, be polite during handling in situations such as vet checks, grooming, nail trims, etc. and much much more. This course gives us extra time to work on any current behavioral issues as well.
4 Week Course:
The four week course is a great course for brushing up on skills for your dog or it is also great for well behaved dogs that just need some obedience. The course consist 4 one on one privet lessons once a week in which each class we cover different topics within the following categories:
In this course we brush up or review our basic obedience with things such as walk on a loose leash, heal, sit, down, stand, take it, leave it, trade you, drop it, retrieve, come, extended sit, extended down, stay, bite inhibition, be fully house broke, do their business on cue, should have no resource guarding or any issues with you place your hand in their food bowl, be child proofed, be polite during handling in situations such as vet checks, grooming, nail trims, etc. this is a great course but it is recommended for people who have had dogs before and is geared towards mature dogs. For new puppies or first time dog owners take the 6 week course.
Specialized Training:
We also do specialized courses such as protection, search and rescue, agility, hunting, tracking, just about anything you can think of.
Behavioral Modification:
Behavioral modification courses very from dog to dog and from problem to problem. We have in depth very effective procedures for many different kinds of behavioral issues some examples of the most common are aggression, jumping, separation anxiety, house breaking, chewing, barking, digging, destructive behavior, coming when called, pulling on the leash, and dominance. As well as much more. These courses very as far as how long and how often they are and sometimes it is recommended that the dog has some of the basics down first.
One On One single classes:
Some times you may not need a whole course and all you need is some guidance or advice we do offer a one time one on one class to help you out with those little problems or to answer any questions you may have these are usually done on an hour by hour basis.
Group Classes
Group Courses:Group classes are very popular our group class size varies from class to class but have a minimum of 6 dogs per class. In our group class you will go threw the 6 week obedience course but there is added distractions and more structured socialization.
